About Talladega County Volunteer Program (TCVP)
The Talladega County Volunteer Program (TCVP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all residents of Talladega County. With the support of generous volunteers who give their time, talents, and resources, we work to strengthen our communities through service and collaboration.
The TCVP Board meets quarterly—in February, May, August, and November—to conduct official business and review applications for funding through our Small Grants Program.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve life in Talladega County by:
Inspiring and supporting volunteers of all ages from every part of the county.
Partnering with programs and organizations that rely on volunteer service to meet community needs.
How We Serve
TCVP supports the community in several ways:
Free Tax Preparation Services
In partnership with other organizations, we help provide free preparation of federal and state income tax returns for eligible residents. This service ensures that community members receive the support they need during tax season.Small Grants Program
We offer small grants to nonprofit and community-based groups through our Small Grants Program.Grants of up to $1,000 are available to support special projects or needs.
Applications are accepted year-round, and each is reviewed for eligibility and alignment with our mission.
Applicants will be contacted in a timely manner with the status of their request.
Through these efforts and more, TCVP continues to build a stronger, more connected Talladega County—one volunteer and one project at a time.
